The Big Apple Circus will be conducting circus skills workshops on the Parade Grounds on beautiful Governors Island, every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 3:00 pm, now through Sunday, Oct. 10th. (weather permiting).  At these “Family Fun Fests,” kids and adults of all ages can try juggling, plate-spinning, and stilt-walking with our professional instructors.

Also on the Governors Island Parade Grounds, the Big Apple Circus is teaming up with Trapeze School New York to erect a 30-foot high trapeze rig, open to the public for classes.  For nearly ten years, TSNY has dedicated itself to making flying trapeze available to anyone who seeks inspiration, challenge, fitness, or just a couple of hours of unique fun.  Visit TSNY’s web site at http://newyork.trapezeschool.com/index.php to learn more and to sign up for classes in advance, or stop by the rig this weekend to check out the action in the air.
