Mirena Rada is thrilled to work with the Big Apple Circus again this season. Her versatile costume design career spans theatre, film, circus, and dance, as well as large-scale events. Highlights include Broadway’s Tony Award-winning and long running hit, AVENUE Q, numerous Disney Resorts parades and spectaculars in Tokyo, Hong Kong and the U.S., and several past seasons for the Big Apple Circus. Awards include the 2004 TDF Young Master Award for Excellence in Costume Design. Mirena received her MFA from the prestigious NYU’s Tisch School, where she also taught for many years.
