HOSPITAL PROGRAMS

Working in close partnership with medical staff at every host hospital, Clown Care tailors its program to meet the needs of each facility.  Clown doctors visit children in pediatric services throughout the hospital. These include the inpatient areas, intensive care units, pre- and post-operative surgery, emergency rooms, physical therapy, bone marrow transplant, pediatric AIDS, and outpatient and acute care clinics.

The Clown Care program plans to continue its expansion to other preeminent children’s hospitals.  In addition, affiliate programs begun by Clown Care-trained clowns already exist in Sao Paulo, Brazil; Paris, France; and Wiesbaden, Germany.
