Kevin Venardos
Kevin Venardos debuts as host/ringmaster this season with the Big Apple Circus. A charming and versatile performer, Kevin is talented and experienced in the arts of theatre, comedy, and voice. His first appearance on stage was at the age of seven as a Green Crayon (one in a package of 24)! After numerous school theatre production and singing engagements, Kevin graduated Ithaca College’s B.F.A Musical Theatre program in 1998. His first thought at graduation was “it was off to NYC: ready for Broadway!” Life had other plans, and he claims that they turned out to be better than he had yet imagined. He gratefully performed small parts on Guiding Light (CBS-TV). His exceptional talents caught the eye of Producer Kenneth Feld, and he was offered the job of Ringmaster for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, where he became the youngest person to hold the position in the Circus’s 130+ year history. Since then, Kevin has developed his variety of performing skills and has blessed with many wonderful opportunities. He lent his entertainment, writing and directing expertise in various original productions at The Venetian Macau Resort Hotel & Casino in Macau, China. Speaking fluent Portuguese, he recently returned from Brazil where he directed an intensive musical theatre workshop for young artists at studio Voz Plena. Big Apple Circus is delighted to welcome the creative and charismatic Kevin Venardos to host the all-new 32nd season of Bello is Back!
