2008/08/07 -Concessions Team

The Big Apple Circus, a not for profit performing arts institution, is looking for a couple to manage 2 of our concession wagons. One person would work and supervise the crew in a food wagon (popcorn,cotton candy,hot dogs) and the other person would manage the novelty stand. Our season runs from Sept 16th to July 25th.We travel to VA, NYC, GA, NJ, MA, RI, and NH Salary, meals, vacation, FHU, and paid mileage for travel. Send resume to nedsully@hotmail.com.

2008/11/14  - Sound Assistant

The Big Apple Circus seeks a Sound Assistant for year-round tour (50 wks/yr), starting ASAP. Responsibilities include: Load in and out of the sound system; setting up back line for an 8 piece band; assist sound engineer with all shows; assist electricians with load in and out. Skills required include: knowledge of setting up microphones and monitor mixes for musicians. Great opportunity for recent graduates! Salary, all meals, and room provided.

2008/10/14 - Maintainence Crew


The Big Apple Circus, an internationally recognized, not-for-profit touring circus seeks a Maintenance Crew member. 

Responsibilities are dependant on experience and skill. Duties include:  grounds upkeep, plumbing, wiring, basic carpentry, heavy lifting, and occasional extended work hours. Special projects assigned on occasion. Tools and equipment provided.
