2010/07/29 - Purchasing Agent
The Big Apple Circus seeks a Purchasing Agent for the Purchasing Department. The ideal candidate will have a friendly disposition, computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and its affiliates, the internet, as well as the ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks in a timely manner. You must also be able to lift up to 50lbs or more.
A valid driver’s license is required. The position requires year-round travel on tour with the Production Unit. The job provides transportation, housing, meals, paid vacations, and full benefits.

2010/08/16- Ring / Prop Crew
The Big Apple Circus seeks a prop crew to travel with the show. Duties include show preparations, all prop, scenic, and rigging moves during performances, properties maintenance, load in and load out.
Some heavy lifting required. Must live on site and travel with show. Start immediately.

2010/08/31 - Animal Care, Groom - Touring
Assist with the grooming and preparation of animals for show which includes ponies, horses, dogs, goats and small exotics: Cleaning of all animal facilities: Load in and load out of stalls and animal facilities: On occasion will be a part of the production to assist Equine Trainers in the ring during the performance: Assist with daily training in circus big top: Willing to travel full time: Room and board are provided: Able to take direction and to work long hours. $300/week
